What the Nashville designs show
The Ryman Auditorium, drawn in red brick engraving with its arched windows and the name still on the awning, and a vertical MUSIC CITY sign in teal standing beside it like a hotel sign from 1955.
Choosing the Ryman over Lower Broadway is the right call for a card. The neon of Broadway is a photograph of a crowd; the Ryman is a building, and buildings hold up in line work.
When people send one
Bachelorette weekends, mostly, and CMA week. Both come with a group, and a group means several cards to several people who stayed home — which is what the multi-card packs are for.
The other regular sender is the visiting musician. This is a working city for people who come to record for a week, and a card is the one souvenir that survives a tour van.
