What the Austin designs show
The Texas State Capitol drawn in green engraving, dome and flag, with a prickly pear in the near corner and an orange sun setting through rays on the right. Two inks, and the cactus is what stops it reading as any state capitol anywhere.
It is a formal front for an informal city, which is a fair joke to send on a card and easy to answer on the back.
